WebData is a joint effort by the Database and Web Design Special Interest Groups of the Philadelphia Area Computer Society, PACS. Our goal is to construct a database-driven website, using PHP and MySQL. In the process of development, our members will learn the basics of scripting with PHP, developing a database with MySQL, and integrating the database with a website. We intend to provide knowledge and skills that our members can apply in developing their own database-driven sites that may be used in a wide variety of circumstances.

We welcome the participation of all PACS members.

• Database SIG meetings, from 11 to Noon in Room 711. Linda Kalb leads the Database SIG.
• Web Design SIG meetings, from 1 to 2 pm in Room AO2. Reed Gustow and John Davey lead the Web Design SIG.
